Music

All children receive teaching in music. At the present time we follow a scheme of work called Music Express. The children learn to appreciate music and create it.

We have a very strong choir from Year Two to Year Six. The children have sung on the stage at Wembley and in the community.  They love the annual trip to Voice in a Million and were very proud to be chosen to be part of the stage choir.

The children have the opportunity to learn a musical instrument as we have a music teacher who works with the school one day a week.

We love to sing in our school and we very fortunate to work with a Folk Group called the ‘Young Uns’ who created a song just for Year Four all about the Roman history of the local area. The children were very proud to be song writers and share their singing with the community through a concert.
